Krk Patterson was born in 1975, in Southeastern Wisconsin. He lived there until 1998 when he moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. While in the Twin Cities, he worked as a coop president, childcare worker at a children’s shelter, and a computer consultant at the University of Minnesota where he earned his degree in English. After earning his degree in 2003, he moved to Madison, Wisconsin, where he currently resides, writing novels and working in accounting.
